FREE PLANNING POKER

Free planning poker online, no sign-up

Create a room, share the link and estimate stories together in real time. Votes stay hidden until the reveal; the average and consensus show up at once. Free forever, no ads.

How it works

  1. 1Create a room

Pick a deck and enter your name. It takes five seconds.

  2. 2Invite the team

Copy the link into your chat or call. Everyone joins with just a name.

  3. 3Vote issue by issue

Add your issues with descriptions. The team votes on each one with its context on screen; reveal, talk through the differences and save the estimate.

What is planning poker?

Planning poker (also called scrum poker) is an agile estimation technique where each person on the team secretly picks a card with the effort they expect for a story. Cards are revealed at the same time, so the first opinion does not anchor everyone else.

When estimates differ, the highest and lowest voters explain their reasoning. That conversation usually uncovers risks and different readings of the work, which is where most of the value lies. Then the team votes again until it converges.

Cards and the Fibonacci sequence

The most common deck follows the Fibonacci sequence (1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21): the bigger the work, the wider the gap between numbers, because uncertainty grows too. Nobody needs to argue whether something is a 14 or a 15.

The ? card means “I don't have enough information to estimate”, and ☕ asks for a break. There is also modified Fibonacci (½, 20, 40, 100), T-shirt sizes (XS to XXL) for rougher estimates, and powers of 2.

Frequently asked questions

Is Rizumo's planning poker really free?

Yes. Unlimited rooms, up to 40 people per room, no sign-up, no card and no ads. It exists to introduce Rizumo, our retrospective tool.

Do I need an account?

No. Whoever creates or joins a room only enters a name. No email is asked for.

Can we estimate a list of issues?

Yes. Whoever creates the room adds issues with a title and description; the team votes on one at a time with its context on screen, and the saved estimate stays on the issue, with the list's total points.

Are votes secret?

Yes. Until someone reveals, the team only sees who has voted, never the value. After the reveal everyone's card, the average and whether you reached consensus appear.

Does it work for remote teams on Teams, Zoom or Google Meet?

It works in any browser, on desktop or mobile. Open the room next to your call and drop the link in the chat.

How long does a room last?

As long as it is in use. After 24 hours without activity, the room and its names are deleted.
